The Schenker ZEN 30 is a quiet, compact, lightweight, efficient, and affordable marine watermaker. It can be installed in any position, both horizontally and vertically.
The flow rates indicated are nominal and may vary by ±20% depending on actual operating conditions.
The power consumption of the Schenker ZEN 30 marine watermaker is up to 80% lower compared to traditional systems. For example, to produce 60 liters/hour of fresh water, only 240 W are required. The normal engine recharge is therefore more than sufficient to replenish the energy consumed, without the need for a generator.
Thanks to its extremely low power consumption, the Schenker ZEN 30 marine watermaker can be powered directly from the batteries. Installation is also possible without a generator.
With 80% lower energy consumption and no generator required, CO2 emissions for water production are reduced by over 85%. Only Schenker allows you to make water while truly respecting the environment.
The use of the Schenker ZEN 30 is extremely simple, as no manual adjustment is required. All systems are equipped with automatic pressure regulation, meaning there is no need for direct access to the watermaker. All functions are operated remotely through the control panel.
The Schenker ZEN 30 marine watermaker does not use high-pressure pumps. The result is extremely quiet operation and the total absence of vibrations.
In the 2.0 systems, all components potentially subject to wear such as o-rings and traditional hydraulic seals have been eliminated. Sealing and sliding elements are made with innovative pads developed using nanotechnology. These materials exhibit abrasion resistance up to 15 times higher than steel.
Instead of the high-pressure pumps used in traditional systems, Schenker watermakers use the new patented ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEM ®, which amplifies the pressure supplied by low-pressure pumps, enabling extremely high energy efficiency. The typical power consumption of a Schenker watermaker is just 4 Watts per liter.
The ERS is specifically designed for marine applications and is built with materials that are completely resistant to brackish water. Moving parts are minimized thanks to the patented solution that eliminates the need for pilot valves.
